Payment of registration fees (in USDLS) can be made as follows:
- By Credit Card: Visa, MasterCard or American Express, online at the moment of your register through PAYPAL.
- By Bank Transfer: (Additional 35 USDLS commission is required for foreing transfers). Please ensure that the name of the participant is stated on the bank transfer. Bank charges are the responsibility of the participant and should be paid at source in addition to the registration fees.
- Registration will only be valid upon receipt of the full payment by the registration department according to the deadline indicated. An email confirming registration will only be sent after receipt of the required fees.
- Outstanding payments will be collected on-site and charged the on-site rate. A copy of the bank transfer (or other proof of payment) will be required in the event that registration fees were not credited to the meeting account on time.
Credit Card Transactions

Pay with PayPal. You can pay with your credit card if you do not have a PayPal account. PayPal uses data encryption and anti-fraud technology to keep your information secure, reducing the risk of online fraud.
If for any reason, you still feel uncomfortable submitting your credit card over the Internet, you can do a bank transfer.
IBAGS 2017 Participants are requested to consult the Mexican Embassy or Consulate in their home country or with their travel agency for specific details relating to visa requirements. It is the responsibility of the participant to obtain a visa if required. Participants can email meeting [email protected] for an invitation letter for visa purposes.
Liability & Insurance
The Congress Secretariat and Organizers cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss of or damage to private property of participants. Participants are advised to take out their own personal travel and health insurance for their trip.
Registration Cancellation Policy
All refunds will be made after the conference for administrative reasons. – All bank service charges will be deducted from all congress registration refunds – Substitution:
- In case you are unable to attend the conference, you are welcome to nominate someone else on your behalf at no additional cost. – Note, in case of cancelation at any stage, Bank transfer admission fee (30 USDLS) will not be refunded – applicable to Bank Transfer payments only. – Please refer to the following cutoff dates for cancellation.
- Cancellations received up and including June 30th, Full Refund.
- Cancellations received between July 1st – October 31st – 50% will be refunded.
- After November 1st – no refund will be made, as material for each meeting registrant has already been prepared. No refunds will be issued for no-shows.
